India's T20 World Cup-winning captain Suryakumar Yadav highlighted the country's vast talent pool in T20 cricket, crediting the domestic structure and IPL for enabling India to field multiple competitive teams. Since taking over captaincy in 2024, India has won 42 of 52 matches. Suryakumar also revealed selecting Ishan Kishan over Jitesh Sharma for the 2026 World Cup was a gut-feeling decision, with Kishan delivering strong performances.
