India-born Australian all-rounder Jerrssis Wadia, 24, made a significant impact in his second Big Bash League (BBL) appearance for the Adelaide Strikers against the Brisbane Heat. Batting at number seven, Wadia smashed 34 runs off 16 balls, including a 24-run over featuring three consecutive sixes and a boundary. Despite his explosive cameo, the Strikers narrowly lost the match by seven runs. Wadia, who moved to Australia from India as a child, was signed as a local replacement player.
