
A Google Chrome extension for Binance-owned Trust Wallet was reportedly hacked, leading to the theft of over $7 million (approximately Rs 58 crore) from affected users. The breach specifically targeted users who logged into Browser Extension version 2.68 after a certain date. Trust Wallet CEO Eowyn Chen confirmed that mobile app users and other extension versions remain unaffected. The company has blocked the malicious website, halted new releases for two weeks, and stated that affected users will be reimbursed by Binance.
