ICMR-NIE Launches ADARV Platform to Enhance Epidemic Intelligence and Outbreak Response
The ICMR National Institute of Epidemiology (ICMR-NIE), in collaboration with the Centre of Data for Public Good and the Isaac Centre for Public Health at IISc Bengaluru, launched ADARV, a data-driven analytics platform to enhance epidemic intelligence and outbreak response. ADARV enables rapid analysis of outbreak data without external software or specialists and serves as a public health data warehouse for India. It aims to shift health data culture from silos to sharing, supporting faster, actionable public health decisions, as demonstrated during a hepatitis outbreak in Haryana.
