Newton School Aims to Train 100,000 Women in Technology Roles by 2026

Newton School has pledged to train 100,000 women in India for high-growth technology roles by 2026, addressing the underrepresentation of women in fields like data science and artificial intelligence. Despite women making up about half of university graduates, their participation in tech careers remains low due to structural and societal barriers, especially in smaller cities. Over 60,000 women have engaged with Newton School's programs, which include financial support and employment-linked pathways to help close this gender gap.
