IBM Opens Infrastructure Innovation Centre in India Amid New AI Infrastructure Standards

IBM has launched its first Infrastructure Innovation Centre at the India Systems Development Lab to advance AI and infrastructure engineering, integrating hybrid cloud and AI solutions to accelerate enterprise AI deployment. The centre aims to enhance collaboration among systems architects and specialists, supporting both domestic and global markets. Concurrently, the Indian government has introduced voluntary Bureau of Indian Standards norms for data centres, cloud computing, and AI ethics to promote uniformity and quality amid significant investments in AI infrastructure.
