These ads are clearly labeled and can be skipped or blocked by users, who retain control over their experience. WhatsApp assures that personal chats, calls, and Status updates remain end-to-end encrypted and are not used for targeted advertising. In some regions, users may subscribe to an ad-free experience for these features.
