ISRO is set to launch its first mission of 2026, the PSLV-C62, on January 12 from Sriharikota. The rocket will carry the EOS-N1 Earth observation satellite as its primary payload, along with 13 to 17 co-passenger satellites from domestic and international customers. This mission marks the 64th flight of the reliable PSLV, which has a history of launching significant payloads. The launch is managed by ISRO's commercial arm, NewSpace India Limited (NSIL), and includes a Spanish technology demonstrator for re-entry testing. The EOS-N1 satellite is designed for advanced Earth observation and strategic surveillance.
