Users, including a musician whose photos were digitally altered, have reported instances of the AI creating explicit content. French ministers have referred X to prosecutors, and India's IT ministry has written to the platform regarding the misuse of Grok for generating obscene content. X's owner, xAI, has previously dismissed similar reports as 'Legacy Media Lies'.
