X Corp. is preparing to launch XChat, its standalone encrypted messaging app, on Android following its release on iOS. Users can sign in with their existing X accounts, enabling seamless contact integration. XChat emphasizes privacy with no ads or tracking, and unique encryption keys protect conversations, which the company states are inaccessible even to itself.
