Nagaland has recovered 109 stolen mobile phones out of 866 reported lost or stolen, achieving a 17.33% recovery rate through the Sanchar Saathi initiative by the Department of Telecommunications. This digital safety platform blocks and traces lost devices, triggering alerts when a new SIM is inserted. Nationally, over 7.7 lakh phones have been recovered, with Telangana and Karnataka leading the recovery efforts.
