Ola Electric has received government certification for its flagship electric motorcycle, the Roadster X and Roadster X Plus, powered by its in-house developed 4680 Bharat Cell battery pack. This approval, granted by the International Centre for Automotive Technology (iCAT), allows the company to commence customer deliveries. Ola Electric highlights this as a significant milestone, marking the first electric motorcycle in India certified with an indigenous battery cell technology, aiming to accelerate EV adoption in the motorcycle segment.
