
India's Gaganyaan human spaceflight program is targeting its first uncrewed mission, HLVM3 G1 OM1, for launch before March. This mission aims to demonstrate the entire process, from orbital insertion to crew module re-entry, splashdown, and recovery. The program, announced in 2018, has faced multiple deadline extensions due to pandemic-related challenges and revised targets, with ISRO now planning three uncrewed missions in FY26.
