CERT-In Warns of Medium-Severity Vulnerability in Windows 10 and 11 Systems

The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has issued a medium-severity security alert for Windows 10, Windows 11, and several Windows Server versions due to a vulnerability in the Desktop Window Manager. This flaw allows a local attacker with limited privileges to access sensitive system memory information, potentially aiding privilege escalation. While it cannot be exploited remotely alone, it may be combined with other attacks. Users and organizations are advised to install the latest Microsoft security updates promptly.
