Ola Electric has received government certification for its flagship electric motorcycle, the Roadster X, powered by its in-house developed 4680 Bharat Cell battery pack. This certification, granted by the International Centre for Automotive Technology (iCAT), allows the company to commence deliveries of the model. Ola Electric states this marks a significant milestone as the Roadster X becomes the first electric motorcycle in India certified with an indigenously developed battery pack, aiming to accelerate EV adoption in the motorcycle market.
