Bengaluru police are exploring advanced AI technologies to enhance traffic enforcement and law and order management. Engineer Pankaj Tanwar met senior officers to discuss scaling his AI-powered helmet for detecting traffic violations, with police expressing interest and addressing concerns about 'snitching culture.' Separately, the city employs over 9,000 AI-enabled cameras for real-time crime prevention, prediction, and inter-state coordination, aiding in arrests and improving public safety.
