Despite a global startup funding slowdown in 2025, Artificial Intelligence (AI) firms have seen a significant surge in investor interest. Funding for AI startups rose nearly 60% year-on-year to $1.24 billion, contrasting with a marginal decline in overall startup investments. This resilience is attributed to strong enterprise adoption, measurable productivity gains, and sustained demand for AI solutions, with Series A and B rounds dominating activity as companies scale commercially. Notable large investments include Uniphore's $260 million Series F round.
