
A recent official survey by Pakistan's Bureau of Statistics indicates a significant rise in internet accessibility, with household internet access reaching 70% and individual internet users at 57%. The Household Integrated Economic Survey (HIES) 2024-25, which covered 32,000 households, also reported a decline in neonatal and infant mortality rates and a decrease in the total fertility rate. Additionally, the survey noted an increase in the use of clean fuels for household needs.
