The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) concluded the year with the successful launch of the LVM3-M6 mission, deploying a 6,100-kg commercial satellite. This marked ISRO's capability to launch very heavy satellites, a significant step in its evolution. Previous successes included the SpaDeX mission demonstrating satellite docking, the joint India-US NISAR mission for detailed Earth imaging, and placing a 4,400-kg satellite into geosynchronous orbit. These achievements highlight ISRO's growing prowess in space technology and its increasing role in commercial satellite launches.
