Vodafone Idea Expands Partnership with Ericsson to Modernize Postpaid Services and Network

Vodafone Idea has expanded its partnership with Ericsson to modernize its postpaid services and support network expansion across India. Ericsson will deploy cloud-native charging systems to replace legacy billing, enabling real-time charging for various services and preparing for 5G standalone architecture. The collaboration includes deploying new 4G and 5G sites, enhancing capacity and indoor coverage, and implementing AI-based tools to improve platform reliability and customer experience as Vodafone Idea scales its operations.
