New Zealand and Karnataka Explore Collaboration in Technology and Research Under PMSA Programme

A New Zealand delegation met Karnataka IT-BT Minister Priyank Kharge to explore collaboration under the Prime Minister's Scholarship for Asia (PMSA) programme. Discussions focused on strengthening ties in technology, research, and skills development, particularly in artificial intelligence, aerospace, sensor, marine, and agritech sectors. Karnataka highlighted its status as India's fourth-largest tech cluster with a strong talent base. Both sides expressed interest in formalizing cooperation, including a potential memorandum of understanding, following the recent India-New Zealand free trade agreement.
