
Honda Cars India has begun road testing its upcoming 0 Alpha electric SUV across diverse Indian conditions, aiming for a 2027 launch. The SUV, based on the 0 Alpha concept, will be manufactured at Honda's Tapukara plant in Rajasthan, where the company plans a ₹1,200 crore investment. The vehicle will feature 65 and 75 kWh LFP battery options and is designed for Indian driving and climate needs. Production may start by year-end, supporting Honda's expanded focus on the Indian EV market amid global strategy shifts.
