ISRO's LVM3-M6 rocket successfully launched the 6,100 kg US BlueBird Block-2 satellite into low Earth orbit on Wednesday. This mission marks the heaviest payload ever launched from Indian soil by an Indian rocket and the third commercial launch for the LVM3 vehicle. The satellite is part of a constellation designed to provide direct-to-mobile 4G and 5G connectivity globally. ISRO Chairman V Narayanan highlighted the rocket's 100% reliability and its significance for future missions like Gaganyaan.
