Zoho-Backed Netrasemi Advances AI Chip Production with A2000 SoC Launch
Indian semiconductor startup Netrasemi, backed by Zoho and supported by the government's Design Linked Incentive program, has completed silicon bringup of its flagship A2000 AI system-on-chip. Built on TSMC's 12nm process, the chip targets smart cameras, edge AI devices, and real-time video analytics, with early customer trials underway in surveillance and automotive sectors. Commercial production is planned for 2024, with a broader launch expected by mid-2027. Netrasemi is also developing a second chip for IoT applications.
