
Solar Defence Aerospace is establishing a 223-acre Robotics UAV facility in Nagpur's MIHAN-SEZ to manufacture advanced drones, robots, and unmanned systems, including those capable of operating in extreme temperatures. The company plans to invest over Rs 12,800 crore over the next three to four years, aiming to produce 10,000 drones and 1,000 robots annually. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis highlighted the facility's role in advancing India's deep-tech manufacturing and defense capabilities amid evolving warfare technologies.
