Bajaj Auto has launched the Chetak C25, an entry-level electric scooter priced at ₹91,399 (ex-showroom), targeting affordability and practicality in India's growing electric two-wheeler market. The C25 retains the classic Chetak design with a metal monocoque body, a 2.5kWh lithium-ion battery, and a hub-mounted motor delivering 2.2kW peak power. It offers a claimed range of 113km (IDC cycle), with real-world urban range around 70-80km, focusing on reliable, no-frills commuting rather than high-end features.
