India's broadband subscriber base surpassed 1 billion (100 crore) in November 2025, marking a sixfold increase from 2015, according to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). Reliance Jio leads the market with 51 crore subscribers, followed by Bharti Airtel with 31.42 crore. The total telecom subscriber base also grew to over 123 crore. This digital milestone reflects significant growth in connectivity and data consumption over the past decade.
