Ministers have reported the issue to the public prosecutor and Pharos, citing potential violations of the Digital Services Act regarding illegal content. The investigation, expanded due to complaints from two MPs, addresses the creation and dissemination of altered images, some featuring minors, which French authorities deem illegal despite the AI feature not being new.
