Tamil Nadu Partners with Sarvam AI for India's First Sovereign AI Park

Tamil Nadu has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Sarvam AI to establish India's first full-stack Sovereign AI Park. The project involves an initial investment of ₹10,000 crore and aims to create 1,000 high-skilled jobs. The park will integrate AI compute infrastructure, secure data frameworks, research labs, and an institute for AI in governance, ensuring data and models remain within the state's control for ethical and inclusive AI deployment across sectors like education, agriculture, and healthcare.
