Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has commenced rolling stock type tests on the Pink Line's elevated stretch between Kalena Agrahara and Tavarekere. These tests, which began January 11 and are expected to conclude by mid-April 2026, will validate train performance, safety, and system integration. The 7.5 km elevated section is part of the 21.25 km Pink Line, connecting Kalena Agrahara to Nagawara. Officials aim for the elevated portion to open by mid-2026, with the full corridor targeted for completion by year-end.
