BSNL has launched its Wi-Fi Calling (VoWiFi) service nationwide, allowing mobile users to make and receive calls over any Wi-Fi network, regardless of mobile signal strength. This service aims to improve call quality and reduce call drops, particularly benefiting users in areas with weak mobile coverage, including rural locations. The feature is available free of cost, requires no additional app, and automatically switches to Wi-Fi when mobile signals are poor, positioning BSNL competitively with other major telecom providers.
