Delhi Police and other Indian law enforcement agencies are increasingly using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to aid investigations. AI tools are being deployed to restore faces, lift masks, and solve complex cases that were previously stalled. Examples include identifying a suspect through a recovered phone and clothes, and restoring the identity of a murder victim, transforming dead ends into active investigations. These applications demonstrate AI's growing role as an investigative partner for trained police officers.
