He explained that traditional showers are not possible in space due to floating water droplets, so astronauts use special hygiene kits with rinse-free shampoo and soap. Water is carefully recycled aboard the ISS. Shukla also demonstrated sealed eye-irrigation goggles designed to clean eyes safely in space, highlighting unique medical adaptations for astronauts far from Earth.
