Instagram Adds AI Voice Translation and Lip-Sync for Reels in Five Indian Languages

Instagram has expanded its AI-powered voice translation and lip-sync feature for Reels to five additional Indian languages: Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Marathi. This update allows creators to dub and lip-sync videos while preserving their original voice tone and mouth movements, enhancing authenticity. The feature, initially launched for English, Hindi, Spanish, and Portuguese, aims to help creators reach broader audiences. Additionally, Instagram introduced new Indian fonts on its Edits app to support regional language expression, with rollouts expected soon.
