Karnataka Advances Ethical AI Framework and Innovation Authority to Boost Emerging Technologies

Karnataka is enhancing its Innovation Authority framework to support emerging technologies through a regulatory sandbox and a state-level ethical AI framework, aiming to promote responsible AI development. The state has allocated Rs 1,000 crore under its IT Policy 2025-30 to boost AI-led growth and increase the IT sector's contribution to the economy. Bengaluru remains a key hub for AI talent and startups, with plans for a 1 GW data centre park to strengthen digital infrastructure.
