India Launches National Framework for Responsible AI Integration in Healthcare

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare unveiled the Strategy for AI in Healthcare for India (SAHI) at the India AI Impact Summit in New Delhi. SAHI offers a national framework to guide responsible AI integration in healthcare, emphasizing trust, ethics, inclusion, and equitable access. The strategy aims to close diagnostic gaps, eliminate algorithmic bias, and ensure AI benefits all patients regardless of region or income. The summit also introduced BODH, a platform for testing and validating AI health solutions.
