IIT Ropar, Syngenta, and Google Launch Hackcore 2026 AI Agriculture Hackathon
ANNAM.AI, India's first Centre of Excellence for AI in Agriculture at IIT Ropar, has launched Hackcore 2026, a national AI hackathon in partnership with Syngenta and Google. The event invites students, researchers, startups, and innovators across India to develop AI solutions addressing crop health, pest management, soil intelligence, climate-resilient farming, and biological product adoption. Winners will visit Syngenta's research center in Italy and receive Google Cloud credits. Participants gain mentorship and field research opportunities. Applications close on July 21, 2026.
