Tripura Announces Plans for India's First State-Level AI Policy and Innovation Initiatives

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha announced that the state will soon unveil India's first individual Artificial Intelligence (AI) policy, developed with support from the Atal Innovation Mission and NITI Aayog. The government plans to establish an AI Centre of Excellence and an IT and Data Economic Zone to promote innovation and integrate AI into governance, including city management in Agartala. Initiatives like the Tripura State Innovation Mission and T-NEST aim to support startups and youth entrepreneurship across the state.
