RailTel Corporation of India Limited has been awarded a Rs 56.71 crore project by the Assam government to implement a Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) across seven medical college hospitals. This web-based system aims to enhance transparency, efficiency, and patient-friendliness in healthcare delivery. The HMIS will digitize medical records, providing patients mobile access and doctors with instant clinical data, thereby improving treatment accuracy and hospital administration through systematic data generation and inter-hospital collaboration.
