Elon Musk's artificial intelligence company, xAI, is expanding its computing capacity by acquiring a third building near its Memphis sites, aiming for nearly 2 gigawatts (GW) of AI training power. This expansion includes a new facility in Southaven, Mississippi, adjacent to its 'Colossus 2' data center. Musk has stated this will significantly boost xAI's training compute. The company is also reportedly seeking new funding at a $230 billion valuation and is developing 'Grokipedia' as an alternative to Wikipedia.
