Bescom has launched a new mobile application, the Distribution Transformer Life Cycle Management System (DTLMS), aimed at enhancing the quality and continuity of power supply. The app will enable continuous monitoring of over five lakh distribution transformers across eight districts, facilitating systematic preventive maintenance, repairs, and efficiency tracking. Field officers will use the app to upload maintenance details and photographs, ensuring proper documentation, faster fault reporting, and optimized resource usage, ultimately reducing power losses and improving reliability for consumers.
