
During the 18th Japan-India Foreign Ministers' Strategic Dialogue in New Delhi, Japan announced plans to invite 500 Indian AI experts by 2030 to enhance joint research and innovation under the Japan-India AI Cooperation Initiative. The two countries also discussed strengthening cooperation in security, economy, and infrastructure, including Japan's ongoing support for Northeast India's development, which remains a complex and sensitive issue due to regional challenges. Both sides agreed to deepen collaboration through new dialogues on economic security and regional connectivity.
