Kerala Police Integrates Bhashini Language AI with iCoPS for Speech-to-Text Reporting

The central government's language-AI platform 'Bhashini' has been integrated with Kerala police's Integrated Core Policing System (iCoPS), enabling officers to prepare reports and documents through speech-to-text without typing. This integration allows faster preparation of FIRs, case diaries, and statements, includes a transliteration feature converting English letters to Malayalam script, and operates on domestic infrastructure to ensure data security.
