Google is gradually rolling out a new feature allowing account holders to change their primary 'gmail.com' email address without losing any data. Photos, messages, and emails will remain unaffected, and users can sign in using either the old or new address. Once a new Gmail address is set, another cannot be created for 12 months, though the old one can be reused. Users can check their account settings to see if the feature is available.
