Noida Airport Implements Low Carbon LC3 Cement in Large-Scale Construction
Noida International Airport in India is the first large-scale infrastructure project in the country to use low carbon Limestone Calcined Clay Cement (LC3), a sustainable technology developed through a global partnership including Swiss institution EPFL and Indian IITs. LC3 reduces CO2 emissions by about 40% compared to traditional cement without compromising strength. This marks a significant step towards climate-friendly construction and could influence future building practices in India and beyond.
