Meta Plans Layoffs in Reality Labs Division Amid AI Focus

Meta is reportedly planning to lay off approximately 1,500 employees, about 10% of its Reality Labs division, which employs around 15,000 people. The cuts are expected to disproportionately affect teams working on virtual reality headsets and metaverse projects.
