EPFO 3.0 Introduces Instant 75% PF Withdrawal with Conditions for Full Corpus Access
The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) is introducing EPFO 3.0, which enables members to instantly withdraw up to 75 percent of their provident fund balance via digital channels, simplifying the process by removing the need to justify claims. Full withdrawal of the entire PF corpus remains possible under specific conditions such as retirement, permanent disability, migration abroad, or prolonged unemployment. The new system also consolidates withdrawal categories to facilitate easier access for eligible purposes like medical treatment, education, and housing.
