Voltas Sells One Million Air Conditioners in Q1 of FY27, Strengthening Market Lead
Voltas has sold one million room air conditioners in the first quarter of the 2026-27 financial year, achieving this milestone in record time and reinforcing its leadership in India's RAC market. This follows its 2023-24 achievement of two million units sold, the industry's first. Voltas credits strategic initiatives and a refreshed product portfolio across premium, mid-range, and value segments. Rival LG Electronics India also reported crossing one million AC sales in early 2026, highlighting strong market demand estimated at 12.5-14 million units annually.
