Union Minister Launches Green Hydrogen Certification Portal and Approves Startup Aid
Union Minister Pralhad Joshi announced the approval of ₹22 crore aid to nine startups under the National Green Hydrogen Mission's ₹100 crore support program and launched the Green Hydrogen Certification Portal to enhance transparency and regulatory compliance. Six states have notified dedicated green hydrogen policies, seven have integrated hydrogen into existing frameworks, and four are finalizing policies. The government is also promoting domestic electrolyser manufacturing, green hydrogen supply contracts, pilot projects in steel, and hydrogen-fueled mobility initiatives.
