Recruitment Scam in Assam Involves Fake Certificates for Government Jobs
A recruitment scam involving forged certificates has been uncovered in Assam, where individuals from outside the state allegedly used fake Permanent Resident Certificates, Caste Certificates, and Income Certificates to secure Central Government jobs under Assam's quota. The scam surfaced in Jorhat, with Naosholia village identified as a source of fraudulent documents. Officials, led by Additional Deputy Commissioner Pankaj Bora, are investigating to identify those responsible and prevent further misuse, raising concerns about employment opportunities for genuine Assamese youth.
